A grand musical Shri Sundarkand Path was held at Rainbow Heights Society in Narol, Ahmedabad. It was organised by Shri Sundarkand Satsang Mandal of Isanpur, which links every path it holds to gau seva.
Held at the society’s Shiv temple
The programme took place at the Shiv temple inside the society complex, marked by devotion and community enthusiasm. Residents of the society took an active part in the preparations.
Recitation by Trilok Maharshi and Mangilal ji Sharma
The musical recitation was led by the well-known reciters Trilok Maharshi and Mangilal ji Sharma. Devotees turned out in large numbers to hear them and to receive the blessings of the path.
Sundarkand reaches residential societies
The event is part of a continuing series in which this Isanpur-based mandal holds Sundarkand Paths across Ahmedabad’s residential societies. Moving out of the temple and into society complexes is an important shift in the tradition, because it lets families who cannot get to a temple regularly take part with ease.
A pledge of gau seva alongside the path
One thing that sets this mandal apart is that it ties every Sundarkand it holds to gau seva. The contributions raised at these events go towards fodder and care at gaushalas. A religious observance thus directly supports a social cause as well.
