A grand Sundarkand Path was held on the evening of 31 March 2026 at Pushkar Heights, opposite Sitabag Society on Vatva Road in Ahmedabad’s Isanpur. By the grace of Hanuman ji Maharaj, devotees attended in large numbers.
The Onkar Mandali Performance
The path and the bhajans were presented by Onkar Mandali, whose melodious singing held the devotees spellbound.
Chants Through the Evening
Cries of Jai Shri Ram and Jai Hanuman rang out all evening, filling the Pushkar Heights complex with devotion.
The Role of the Mandalis
Ahmedabad has many active bhajan mandalis like Onkar Mandali, performing at events in societies, temples and homes. They pair a singer with players on harmonium, dholak, tabla and manjira. Many have worked as the same team for years, which gives their performances coordination and maturity.
Chaitra and the Sundarkand
Chaitra is the month of Hanuman Janmotsav and Ram Navami, so the number of Sundarkand events naturally rises during this period.
Events in Society Complexes
The shared complexes and club houses of large residential projects have become well suited to these events. They offer enough space and basic facilities, so large numbers of people can take part with ease.
